This event has been extremely successful because of our wonderful volunteers!
Each year we rely on 150 - 200 volunteer to ensure our event successfully honors fallen public safety officers. Volunteers must be at least fourteen years of age and can be on an individual or group basis. Each June we open a volunteer registration which helps us identify areas that potential volunteers are interested in. In 2016 the Volunteer Registration will open on July 1st.
In addition to a need for volunteers the day of the event we are always looking for a few dedicated and talented individuals to serve on the planning committee. Interested individuals must be able to work as a member of a team within specific and assigned roles and responsibilities. There are a variety of positions with diverse commitment levels and responsibilities.
