Our Beneficiaries

The Dallas Stair Climb is first and foremost a memorial event to pay tribute to fallen first responders.  Climbers are not required to do any fundraising to participate in this event.

If a climber chooses to do so, the Dallas 9/11 Memorial Stair Climb has chosen

Texas LODD Task Force

As our 2022 beneficiary, the Texas LODD Task Force honors fallen and critically injured first responders by providing response, resources, and remembrance programs to and for first responder agencies and families.

During our registration process, climbers have the option to raise funds for our selected beneficiary.  Climbers are encouraged to raise $1.00 per floor prior to the climb that is paid directly to the beneficiary they choose. Many climbers raise more than $110.

Together, we have raised over $450,000 for charities benefiting national and local first responders!

Click on the logo below to find out more about our 2022 beneficiary.

Following our climb, we ask that our beneficiaries send us a letter outlining the amount received from our event and what they have used or intend on using the funds for. Click on the beneficiary name under each year to view their letter.
