Our Beneficiaries
The Dallas Stair Climb is first and foremost a memorial event to pay tribute to fallen first responders. Climbers are not required to do any fundraising to participate in this event.
If a climber chooses to do so, the Dallas 9/11 Memorial Stair Climb 2025 beneficiary is:
A Badge of Honor
A Badge of Honor is a nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting the mental health and wellness of first responders and their families. Founded by individuals with firsthand experience in emergency services, the organization offers programs designed to address the unique challenges faced by those in high-stress professions.

Their primary initiative is the "Healing Our Heroes" workshop, an interactive, eight-hour program certified by the Texas Commission on Law Enforcement (TCOLE). This workshop provides tactical strategies to combat stress, build resilience, and improve overall well-being. In addition to serving first responders, A Badge of Honor extends its support to their families through specialized workshops that focus on communication, understanding post-traumatic stress, and fostering resilience at home.

The organization's mission is to end suicide among first responders and veterans by raising awareness of post-traumatic stress injuries (PTSI) and providing effective prevention strategies. Through education, peer support, and community engagement, A Badge of Honor aims to break the stigma surrounding mental health in emergency services.

For more information or to schedule a workshop, visit their website at www.abadgeofhonor.com.

Following our climb, we ask that our beneficiaries send us a letter outlining the amount received from our event and what they have used or intend on using the funds for. Click on the beneficiary name under each year to view their letter.
