John Barrett - Founder
John Barrett founded the Dallas 9/11 Memorial Stair Climb in 2011. John served as the Event Director from 2011 until 2015, then again in 2017.
In addition to starting the Dallas 9/11 Memorial Stair climb, John was a founding member of the Association of Memorial Stair Climbs in 2013.

Lauren Sanchez - Event Director
Lauren joined the Dallas 9/11 Memorial Stair Climb as a Planning Committee member in 2022 as the Top Floor Coordniator. In 2023, she joined the Steering Committee as the Assistant Event Director of Operations.

Chrystie Gibbs - Assistant Event Director - Admin / Support
Chrystie joined the Dallas 9/11 Memorial Stair Climb as a day of volunteer in 2017 and 2018, and then served as the Walk In Their Bootsteps Coordinator. She then served as the Hospitality Director in 2022. In 2023 she joined the Steering Committee as the Assistant Event Director of Admin/Support.

LuAnn Portugal - Assistant Event Director - Finance
LuAnn started with the Dallas 9/11 Memorial Stair Climb in 2013 as a Day of Volunteer. In 2015 she joined the Planning Committee in the role of Volunteer Director. She joined the Steering Committee in 2018 as the Assistant Event Director - Finance.
