John Barrett - Founder
John Barrett founded the Dallas 9/11 Memorial Stair Climb in 2011. John served as the Event Director from 2011 until 2015, then again in 2017.
In addition to starting the Dallas 9/11 Memorial Stair climb, John was a founding member of the Association of Memorial Stair Climbs in 2013.
Stacie Estrada - Event Director
Stacie started with the Dallas 9/11 Memorial Stair Climb as a day of volunteer in 2013. After two years, she became a part of the planning committee serving on the Participants team as Law Enforcement Participant Coordinator in 2015 and 2016. She then stepped into a Steering Committee role as Assistant Event Director - Participants in 2017 and 2018 and as the Assistant Event Director - Operations in 2019.
In addition to serving as the Event Director in Dallas, Stacie is the Marketing Director for the Association of Memorial Stair Climbs.
Cindy Ledesma - Assistant Event Director - Admin / Support
Cindy joined the Dallas 9/11 Memorial Stair Climb in 2015 as the Assistant Event Director of Finance. She served in this role until 2016 and she moved to Assistant Event Director of Admin / Support in 2017 and the Event Director in 2018 and 2019.
In addition to serving on as the Assistant Director of Finance, Cindy is the Finance Director for the Association of Memorial Stair Climbs.
LuAnn Portugal - Assistant Event Director - Finance
LuAnn started with the Dallas 9/11 Memorial Stair Climb in 2013 as a Day of Volunteer. In 2015 she joined the Planning Committee in the role of Volunteer Director. She joined the Steering Committee in 2018 as the Assistant Event Director - Finance
Rodney Smith - Assistant Event Director Operations
Rodney is Chief of the Cedar Hill Fire Department and serves on the Planning Committee in the role of Assistant Event Director of Operations.
