Fundraising:
Our beneficiary has been carefully selected for their part in assisting official governmental agencies with the location of any lost or missing persons. Participants are not required to fundraise, however, you are encouraged to consider gathering a minimum of $1.00 per floor in pledges if you do. The financial support our beneficiaries gather from our event can be some of the largest that they receive throughout the year, and therefore most important. Please keep this in mind as you ask for support.

How to Create your own Fundraising Page

1. BECOME A FUNDRAISER
Becoming a fundraiser is the first step in raising funds for Search One Rescue Team. In order to accomplish this, you will first need to click on BECOME A FUNDRAISER at the top of the Campaign Landing Page.
2. RAISE FUNDS AS AN INDIVIDUAL
If you choose to raise funds as an individual, and forget to join or create a team, you still have the option to join or create a team once you have created your own personal fundraising page.
Set up your individual fundraising page by naming your page, setting up your own fundraising goal and uploading a photo.
2. CREATE A TEAM
Creating a team allows your coworkers, friends and family to join up! You can create your team after selecting "Become A Fundraiser" on the Campaign landing page. You will then select the Create A Team Option. Next you will be prompted to name your team, set a fundraising goal and write a team mission statement. You will then be ready to recruit team members in order to start fundraising.
4. JOIN A TEAM
If someone you know has already created a team, you can join forces with them by selecting the Join A Team option after clicking "Become A Fundraiser" on the Campaign Landing Page.
You will then have the option of entering the name of the team you are looking for in the search bar, or browsing through the list of established teams to find the team you are looking to join. Simply click on the name of the team you wish to join to become a team member.
If you have already set up an individual fundraising page, you can find a team page and select Join Team via the team page.
